GROVER WEHMAN-BROWN
Grover Wehman-Brown provides writing and strategic communication services that support social good. Currently, Grover is the Communications Manager at East Bay Housing Organizations, an organization advocating for affordable housing in the East Bay counties of California.
Grover's writing on homelessness, gender, sexuality, and cultural politics has been published in venues such as the Huffington Post, the Establishment, Innovate413, Writers Resist, Street Spirit, and Gertrude Press.com. Grover created the podcast Masculine Birth Ritual, conversations about masculine-of-center queer & trans birth. They also co-created A Life We Braid, an online zine exploring of femme/butch lineage and politics with Jess St. Louis.
Grover holds a PhD and MA in Communication from the University of North Carolina and a BFA in Writing for Poetry, Publication, and Media from the Pratt Institute.
